Where we came from

Our History

Impact Mission Church formally known as Disciples of Christ Mission Church (DCMC) was founded by Apostle Mechak Rwumbuguza through the work of the Holy spirit. We officially opened the doors on January 25, 2014 in Hurst Texas. We are one of many churches Apostle Mechak helped to start.

At the start of this ministry, Pastor Stephane Amani was our Associate Pastor. Pastor Amani responded to the call of God to leave Maine and move here to continue the work of God in North Texas. In October 2017, Pastor Amani became the Senior Minister at Impact Mission Church.

We changed our name from Disciples of Christ Mission Church (DCMC) to Impact Mission Church on December 22, 2018 to reflect the focus of our mission of outreach, impacting lives with the love of Christ one soul at the time . Each year we continue to see salvations, baptisms and souls coming to Jesus Christ.
